I came to know about this book in 2021 and got an ebook version soon – as its easy to search for a topic than a physical book. This book goes into the depths of literature for common diseases named as ‘infectious diseases’ such as polio, malaria and goes to elaborate how the papers don’t actually have the evidence that people generally assume they do. – such as proof of causation of the disease by the microbe, poor quality research, lack of repeatability and lot of assertions without proof. Just on the topic of TB, I had a one week debate with a friend of mine who was working on his PhD on the topic of ‘Opportunistic TB in HIV patients’ – he used to defend the data point of ‘no TB bacteria found but symptoms exist’ as ‘its tough to isolate it’ – this debate didn’t change his mind, but it opened mine to my own biases and conditioning. He ended up taking the covid vaccine – just to keep his lab credentials (he believed the virus was real but ‘natural’ immunity would be better). I could escape the vaccine mandate for my big tech job thanks to the remote option and thankfully the insanity came to an end with me being the only one from my team of 1250 who didn’t take the vaccine. I also forced my brother to avoid it. He trusted me and so did my mother, plus a few family members. I’m still learning how to address various diseases which we used to treat with mainstream approaches like antibiotics (such as cellulitis for which a family member was prescribed clindamycin and linozalid) and it seemed to work in a week. It’s tough to convince not to take these medicines and focus on food and nutrition and wait it out.

I’d love to see the power duo take on the challenge of a new book/sequel that’s sorted by disease which can become a great reference book for all – as mainstream disease classification is often the start of a reader’s journey. A chapter on Varicose veins, a chapter on cellulitis, a chapter on various types of headaches, on cancers. The first book nails the problem, the lack of academic evidence, the second could focus on specific disease titles and what can they potentially do about it.

A long due review – thanks a lot Dawn and David, for being the torchbearers, having the courage to put your research out in the open, sharing your wisdom freely. Wish you great health, success and happiness!

Another learning for me was that the reason many do not resonate to this message is also tied to spiritual leanings and what’s called as ‘vsasanas’ or ‘samskaras’ in Indian philosophy – your inherent deep seated urges that shape your worldview, influence your behavior, beliefs and values. Do you see the universe as alive and caring and working for you? do you see it as hostile, dog eat dog, uncaring indifferent world? (tease for another of their book Nature of Reality)

This compelling book will answer all your niggling little questions about the germ theory, and how it is at the crux of the big lie that the whole medical establishment is based on. As you gain a thorough understanding of every facet of this, and are forced to question everything you have been indoctrinated to believe about disease and how the body works, you will not only be furious that the world is still under this spell in 2025, but you will also grieve for loved ones, who have been subjected to abuses by the so called ‘health’ industry, and likely killed. But now you know, and you will never allow this to happen again, at least to yourself.

This magnificent book totally destroys the official narrative on the causes and cures for diseases, it taught me that I must take control of my own health and that the current medical system works for profit and not my wellbeing, It’s a must for your bookshelf.

I’m seventy-two years old and I spent the first fifty-five years abusing my body. Then I paid the price for all those years in a big way. Having given up on allopathic medicine, I then spent the best part of twenty years studying every natural health book, video and docuseries I could find. Eventually, the knowledge found during those years resolved most of my health issues. So why am I telling you all this? Because ‘What Really Makes You Ill’ is the best ‘health book’ by a mile – though it’s much more than a health book – I’ve ever come across. If you want to find out why you are chronically unwell or if you just want to avoid chronic illness – BUY THIS BOOK – But be prepared for some shocks and even more Eureka moments.
